I'm Anna, a local veterinarian and founder of A Gentle Goodbye.

As a veterinarian, one of the greatest privileges of my profession is caring for pets throughout every stage of their lives. From welcoming new puppies and kittens into their families, to helping beloved companions through illness, injury, and the changes that come with age, I have had the opportunity to witness the extraordinary bond people share with their animals.

Over the last 10 years in veterinary practice, I have supported many families through difficult end-of-life decisions. During that time, I often found myself wishing I could offer something that can be difficult to provide in a busy clinic setting: more time, more privacy, and more space for families to simply be together.

I founded A Gentle Goodbye in 2025 to provide compassionate in-home palliative care, quality-of-life consultations, and peaceful in-home euthanasia services for pets and the people who love them. My goal is to support both animals and their families with kindness, gentle guidance, and a low-stress approach, ensuring pets remain comfortable in the place they know best—home.

I understand that saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the hardest decisions a family can face. I am committed to creating a calm, supportive environment where you can focus on your pet, honour the bond you share, and say goodbye in your own time.
